The third day of our trip finally arrived and it was time to pick up our vans! Also known as a "chubby". Danielle and I almost died when we saw our van...as you can see from the pictures it was quite an interesting vehicle. I have no idea who "the stranger" is but trust me, we saw far stranger vans on the trip than ours, at least we never had to worry about losing it! It was fate when the boys got a van with a pirate theme since Sebastian had bought "pirate pants" the week before and needless to say they loved it. I believe toward the end of the trip they even had a pirate flag they wore as a cape. The van became our new home for the next two weeks. Getting started was a little rocky since Danielle had just learned to drive a manual car and this was no shiny new van but after a few days she got the hang of it and she was driving like a pro! We decided to drive north and saw some really beautiful scenery on the way. Since we were driving along the coast we saw the ocean next to beautiful mountains and sandy beaches.
